Ebenezer Lutheran Church Preschool is a ministry of Ebenezer Lutheran
Church offering a Christian preschool experience to children two through
five regardless of religious affiliation.
A STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
Ebenezer Lutheran Church views children and families as a precious resource, given
by God, and acknowledges its responsibility to assist parents in providing for their
children’s nurture and care. The purpose of the Preschool is to provide Christian
nurture in a safe, secure, and caring early childhood setting for children of the
congregation and community in which two-, three-, four- and five-year-olds are
helped to grow, learn, and develop as God’s children, physically, socially,
emotionally, cognitively, and spiritually.
OUR PROGRAM
Our preschool program is centered around the significance of play as an integral
part of a child’s learning process. We strive to help children build a positive
attitude about themselves, their school and the world around them. Each child
learns that they are a special and unique child of God, cherished and valued in this
world.
By providing a variety of play equipment and activities children are allowed and
encouraged to develop in a very natural way. Our program also uses theme
oriented discussions, books, fingerplays, songs and projects. These encourage
each child’s self-esteem while teaching basic concepts and skills to provide a
readiness experience for kindergarten.
CLASSES OFFERED
For children who are 2 by August 31st prior to the school year, we offer a one-day class
from 9:00 to 11:00.
Tuition is $50 per month. (Some parent participation is required).
For children who are 3 by August 31st prior to the school year, we offer a two-day class
on Thursday and Friday from 9:00 to 11:30 or an
afternoon class from 12:45 to 3:15.
Tuition is $95 per month.
For children who are 4 by August 31st prior to the school year, we offer a three-day pre-
kindergarten class from 9:00 to 11:45, Monday thru Wednesday or a five-day pre-
kindergarten class from 12:45 – 3:30, Monday thru Friday.
The 3-day class tuition is $130 per month.
The 5-day class tuition is $210 per month
